These Spring School Holidays, The National Drama School invites young creatives to explore their passion for acting in a four-day Shakespeare acting intensive.
Over four epic days, our Shakespeare in Bloom program will give you an introduction to world of Shakespeare. You’ll learn:
- How to break down the text of one of Shakespeare’s famous plays
- Hands-on ensemble performing techniques
- Vocal and physicality work for the stage
- Acting tools and exercises used by the Australian Shakespeare Company & the Royal Shakespeare Company
- A chance to make some awesome new friends who, like you, love to act!

YOUNG ACTORS PROGRAM - SCHOOL HOLIDAYS
The National Drama School’s holiday programs for primary and secondary school students offer budding young actors the opportunity to join an ensemble and work with our professional teachers to devise and perform works for stage and screen. In a safe and supportive environment, learn performance skills that harness your understanding of voice, physicality and focus to convey ideas and stories. Find out how to respond to stimulus, create scripts, and extend ideas further. All holiday programs culminate in a public performance for family and friends. Our age-based groups and strictly limited capacities ensure that each young actor receives the appropriate training and attentions – and can make friends!
